在周五, SES fifth graders gathered along Alaina Pena-Ariet Lane and celebrated the end of their unit in writing personal narratives. Students partnered up, shared their very descriptive stories and gave great feedback to their peers. The anecdotes were illustrative and featured amusing stories of puppies, 有爱心的朋友, 过山车,, 当然, 泰勒•斯威夫特.

The Dunkin' Munchkins may have contributed to the big smiles seen in the alleyway, but it truly was a wonderful morning of fifth-grade fun!

What fun it's been to learn about the five senses in Mrs. 矿工和太太. 年轻的教室. The students enjoyed two extraordinary activities in which they could use all five senses.

First, the students sampled delicious homemade cupcakes made by Soorah Dodge and her son Zach. 第二个, students had a blast using their sense of smell to guess the scents in each jar and match them to the correct smell. Their keen sense of smell identified scents like peppermint, 枫糖浆, 柠檬, 石灰, 椰子和香蕉.

Student council and the third grade Random Acts of Kindness club committed to recognizing our excellent custodians on National Custodian Day, 10月2日. Students created signs and thank you cards to decorate the custodian's workspace to say thank you for all of their hard work keeping our school space safe and clean.
